When you pass the corner on this 'dogleg' a lovely view across the
Gibside estate opens up. Listen for the woodpeckers and watch for the red-kites!

Looking straight down the fairway - marker post is the target |

There is a tall marker post to assist players |
Golfer's Tip
This is another dogleg left which requires a good tee-shot to the corner ( this
is approx 250 yards away ). There is a marker post to aim for, but the safe
line is to the right. A longer ( blind? ) iron shot into the green may be
needed. There is a steep bank above the left of the green and it also slopes
away to the right. There is only the one bunker at the front right of
the green.
Since your 2nd shots into the green may be blind, players should walk up
to ensure that the green is clear.
