The main feature of this hole is the gorge and stream which runs across
the approach to the green. "Hollinside Well" is located here and it once supplied
the nearby farm and village. Mine workings over years have depleted the flow of
water in the stream.

Looking from behind the green back towards the fairway - green slopes down the hill.
Golfer's Tip
This a slight dogleg left with the main feature of the hole being the
ravine which you have to clear with your second shot into the green.
If your tee shot is too far to the left then your 2nd shot in may be
blocked out. There are 2 bunkers at each of the right and left sides
of the green. Here the land slopes to the left and this is very
pronounced on the green - no easy putts here!
